Ada Handle Beta Launch Pushed

I know, I know — we were all hoping this wouldn’t be pushed (trust me). But alas, we’re not okay with rushing a product out the door.

In the last few weeks, we’ve had several partnerships come through the door, including two publicly announced and more on the way. In addition, we’ve opened our Discord server and welcomed over 1,000 members within 48 hours.

Needless to say, things have picked up far quicker than we had even hoped.

New Beta Launch Date

We know delays suck, but we believe it’s best to protect everyone involved and create the absolute best experience possible.

With this in mind, and with some additional security and legal considerations, we’ve decided to push back the beta launch one week:

October 15th at 4pm UTC.

We are extremely confident we can hit this goal and will be using this weekend and the following week to do some due diligence, such as:

  • Stress testing servers and fail-safes.
  • Ensuring our legal terms of use are polished.
  • Ensure double-minting can’t happen.

Beyond that, we do have some exciting things we will be able to launch in the meantime:

  • A refreshed website, detailing everything you need to know, deployed early next week.
  • A fancy countdown page so you know exactly when the beta sale will open.
  • Published open-source code prior to launch.
  • Stretch goal: a preview video of the interface and flow.
  • Stretch goal: preview video of the unique URL interface.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask in our Discord or our official Twitter channel.
